Set on the gorgeous Noosa River, this unique floating venue is definitely one of our favourites due to the wide range of reception options it provides. From the super intimate Sunset Bar at the top, to the River Room on the middle level which is the perfect blank canvas to bring your wedding inspo to life or down to the bougie Eastern Deck on the ground level. The River Room can hold 140 sit down or 220 cocktail style while the Eastern Deck is like a private dining room for up to 40 people catching those sweet Noosa breezes all on the privacy of your own deck.
FCF expert styling tip – Fairy lights are a must on the ceiling in the River Room and as a backdrop on the Eastern Deck.
If you are looking for style, location and award winning food with a leafy river backdrop, the Waterfront is it. There is so much to love about this perennial favourite which true to its name is smack bang on the waterfront off Noosa River. Headed up by award winning chef Andrea Ravezzani this venue seats up to 120 seated or 150 cocktail. With room for a band and dancefloor, this is a venue that has it all.
FCF expert styling tip – if kids are on your guest list, put some tipis and lawn games on the grass next to the restaurant so the kids can have their own space to run around, while parents watch from the restaurant.
Located at the Noosa Marina, the ABIA award winning Riverdeck Restaurant has long been a favourite with couples. Plan a ceremony at Noosa Beach and choose to arrive by gondola, charter cruiser or the historic Noosa ferry right to the front door. The Riverdeck can hold up to 180 seated and 220 cocktail style with big glass doors that open to catch the river breezes so you and your guests can enjoy the dusky sunset across the water.
FCF expert styling tip – to give the room a coastal vibe, swap out the chairs for oak style chairs such as bentwoods or cross backs.
This stylish Noosa favourite takes pole position on the shore of iconic Noosa Beach. Sails epitomises Noosa style and its location and food make it a winning wedding venue. Catering for up to 110 guests sit down, Sails is the only beachfront venue with its own private grassed outdoor area with panoramic views across the bay. Enjoy a wedding reception to remember to the sound of waves and palm trees rustling…bliss.
FCF expert styling tip – fairy lights on the ceiling are a must for this beautiful venue. They create a soft romantic vibe throughout the evening.
Holding prime position at one of the most serene locations on the stunning Noosa River, Rickys offers luxe river vibes any time of the day. With up to 130 guests for sit down or 250 cocktail style there are a number of floor plans to suit your guest numbers so everyone can enjoy those to die for views.
FCF expert styling tip – To bring the best out of this room go hard with lush florals either as garlands or in rectangular vases and load up big on pillar candles along the ledges.
OK so not technically Noosa but still close enough to make our list, Yandina Station is perfect for couples looking for those sophisticated rustic feels. The historic dairy shed has been transformed into a stunning venue that can seat up to 150 guests, with views stretching across the valley to Mount Coolum. Featuring incredible photo locations, great food and an outside lawn area just crying out for those post ceremony lawn games for your guests. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, owners Sally and Neal went and built a glam new deck which is the ideal ceremony location.
FCF expert styling tip – Stay with the theme of the Station and add stylish country, rustic elements such as vintage lounges, native flowers and touches of wood. Ceiling installations also look amazing in this venue. Make sure you work with a floral stylist that knows the room and can design the perfect hanging floral arrangement.
